After trying a few times,I found that you can either share the internet connection first then do the Ad Hoc wireless network or the other way around.
In this case, I've already setup the Ad Hoc wireless and I'll just proceed with the internet connection sharing.
The internet connection is on Windows XP SP2 and the other pc is running Windows Vista.
On Windows XP,
1. Right click on My Network Places and click Properties.
2. Right click on your preferred internet connection and click Properties again.
3. Click the Advances tab. Under the Internet Connection Sharing, check the “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection”. Just click OK on the Network Connections message.
4. For “Home networking connection:” Choose “Wireless network connection”. The other two options are not necessary.
5. Click OK.
6. Connect your internet connection.
By this time, you should be able to access the internet from Windows Vista.
