HTC Wildfire - HTC Desire smaller brother

HTC Wildfire was design to be a more affordable Android smartphone. It comes with Qualcomm MSM 7225 528 MHz CPU, 384 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM. Lower specifications than HTC Legend and a 3.2" LCD capacitive touchscreen with QVGA resolution. so, don't expect a AMOLED display quality.

It still packed with 5 megapixel autofocus camera but the image quality is below average. Video recording is not as I expected. It should come with VGA recording but HTC Desire only support CIF@15fps video recording.

Other than that HTC Desire is still a full fledged Android smartphone. It comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, a GPS, Accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor, bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and FM stereo. Currently running Android 2.1 but HTC promise an Android 2.2 (Froyo) update in Q3 this year.
