The Winds of Memory

The wind brushes gently against my face,
Carrying whispers of a fleeting embrace.
A memory stirs, vivid and clear,
Of a moment long gone, yet held so dear.

The past has faded, its chapters closed,
Yet echoes remain where love once posed.
What’s done is done, the years drift away,
But I must move forward, no matter what.

Once, we walked this path as one,
Our laughter dancing beneath the sun.
Now, time has drawn its quiet line,
Yet your presence lingers, soft and fine.

Though distance grows, the bond holds tight,
An unseen thread in the depth of night.
For what we’ve shared cannot erase,
It lingers on, a timeless grace.

The traces fade, like waves on sand,
Yet God's promise stands, steadfast and grand.
What truly remains will never wane,
A love eternal, untouched by pain.
