1. Set your bedtime
We all have a rough day almost all the time. and we need to have enough sleep to face another challenging day. Most of us need around 6 to 8 hours sleep.
So, just go to bed when it's time. It will help you a lot the next day.
2. Write down what you want to do next day
Don't keep everything on your head. You will surely forget one or two items and your brain will then keep trying to think what was it.
So, write it down. Your brain need rest too.
3. Clean up and prepare your bed
If you are very busy and really need a good sleep, then at least tidy up your bed. Don't leave unnecessary thing like phone and books on your bed. Your brain will pick that up and tell your body that you can't move freely while sleeping.
4. Listen to calming music
Go to youtube and search for "calming music for sleep". You will find bunch of videos that will help you falls asleep easily. Choose the one that suite you most.
Just make sure you don't watch anything from youtube short.
5. Turn off the light.. please
6. Practice Diaphamatic Breathing
This also called Belly Breathing. When it's time to bed, you turn off the light, turning on your favorite calming music and you lie down.
Now, breath in slowly and let the air down towards your stomach. Hold it for a few seconds and exhale slowly.
I like to do this by inhale in 3 second, hold it for 3 second and exhale in 3 second. After after a few times, I increase it to 4 or 5 second.
