I've always wanted to run. Not fast running—just jogging.
The First Try
For the first 6 months, I ran 3 times a week, covering about 4.5 km each time.
I started with 1 minute of running, then 1 minute of walking. It was really hard. My knee wasn't ready for it.
For over 3 months, I barely made any progress.
I got frustrated and quit. I went back to doing cardio exercises instead.
Starting Again—The Right Way
That lasted about a year before I wanted to try running again.
As I'm writing this, it's been 3 months since I started running again. But this time is different.
This time I learned a bit about:
- Running form
- Leg muscles
- Running strategy
- And most importantly—patience
The results?
- First month: 4.5 km
- Second month: 6 km
- Third month: 7.5 km
It's been better this time around.
