Why it's hard to start writing

When I was on a full time job, I will sit down.. turn on the browser, browse for 5 minutes and I already had an idea what to write. 15 minutes later … I’m just checking my spelling and ready to hit the post button.

But now, after 2 years of daily reading, and a lot more free time working as a subcontractor, I’m struggling to start writing. I guess the daily reading didn’t help much.

And the more I learn the technical aspect of writing, the more I got confused.

It took me a year to start again. Yes, almost a year. The last post on this blog is like a year ago and that’s because I use ChatGpt.

Talking with ChatGpt had almost give me the best idea that I think I wanted to have, but somehow.. I don’t like ChatGpt’s writing. It’s too perfect and I don’t like perfection.

It doesn’t have any soul in it’s writing. It speaks not the way I wanted to. It doesn’t have the emotion and connection that I wanted to. After two years with ChatGpt, I have to stay apart from it.

I guess I have to start again like it was 10 years ago. Never mind about the grammar. Never mind about the content. I’ll just write anything I want. It might turn out as a rubbish and no body reads them. Well.. I don’t care. I just want to write and I’ll write whatever I want.
