2 month after releasing Realme X, Realme doesn't wait another year to release Realme X successor. The Realme X2 released 2 month after that.
Bringing some improvement over the predecessor, however Realme X2 did also cut something from what Realme X already have.
Ok.. what's gone from Realme X
Gone is the motorized popup selfie camera. Realme replace the popup with conventional teardrop notch.
Screen size was reduced from 6.53 inch to 6.4 inch.
Other than that, we will lots of improvement on Realme X2 over Realme X.
Screen was upgraded from AMOLED to Super AMOLED. Realme X2 is also 9 gram lighter even with dual Gorilla 5 protection.
Realme always try to fit in the latest processor for it's devise. And What you get here is the Snapdragon 730G which is uses 20% less battery, 10% performance improvement and 25% faster graphic rendering compare to Snapdragon 710. It is a gaming centric processor that has Snapdragon Elite Gaming feature.
The storage option is still the same with Realme X, but this time Realme X2 were given a USF2.1 and a dedicated microSD card slot.
One most important thing to highlight here is the present of NFC.
Realme X2 comes with 4 camera configuration arranged vertically at the left side if you look from the back. Main camera is now 64MP.
Realme X2 is powered by 4000mAH Li-Po battery and Realme is generous enough with the fast charging. In comes with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 that can 67% in 30 minutes.
I think Realme have made a fair trade to bring such an upgrade to Realme X. Even with the absent of popup camera that eliminate the purely fullscreen experience, it can easily forgiven with bunch of new upgrade Realme X2 received.
