Samsung Wave GT-S8500 is the first phone from Samsung running Samsung very own smartphone OS, Bada OS.
Samsung Wave features a very decent 3.3" WVGA 16M-color Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch input support. Build just 10.9 mm thick with thin metal body, It feel really solid in your hand. It's not as wide as iPhone or Samsung Gallaxy S, but the weight and the size of this device make it feel nice when you hold it.
Samsung put in ARM Cortex A8 based 1GHz CPU for processing power with 390MB user memory. Wi-Fi with b/g/n is build in together with GPS (A-GPS supported) and a digital compass. Radio is there if you need it. Also a standard 3.5mm audio jack and TV out port.
The 5 megapixel camera produced nice image. Almost on par with digital camera. Not forgetting HD (720p 30fps) video recording capability. During video recording or moving between shooting picture, there's no lagging on the screen even in low light condition (indoor).
DivX is supported, so less time is needed to convert your video collection. Browser is Webkit-based Samsung Dolphin Browser 2.0 with full Flash support.
