Personally, I haven't use IE for several years. The reason I download and install IE8 is to compare IE8 with Firefox 3 Beta 3.
In term of speed, I feel that Firefox 3 Beta 3 outperform IE8 with huge margin.
I believe Firefox is more comfortable browser.
