If you don't know, this is the best selling model that Xiaomi had produced. In some region, Redmi Note is the best selling smartphone. This is probably because of its mid range specification with good performance and it is priced at almost an entry level.
Speaking about Redmi Note 7 design, it still retain the 2018 design Style. Although we believe Xiaomi can do better, it still an improvement compared to it's predecessor.
For Redmi Note 7, it's got dual Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Front and back. As for the side, the material is glossy plastic. Personally I believe, the choice of glossy plastic is to provide drop protection.
Side bezel is thin. (Come on Xiaomi, you can do better than that) Not ugly teardrop notch. So overall design is good and solid.
While retaining the IR blaster and FM radio, the Redmi Note fan finally get themselves a USB type C. The phone also support Quick Charge 4. However the Quick Charge 4 charger didn't come with phone. Buy your own.
What I don't like is the location of Led notification. It not centered, so it looks wierd and a I'm a bit turn off for that.
Other than that, Redmi Note 7 perform beautifully. It's fast, responsive. The overall camera performance and photo quality is excellent for a mid range smartphone.
Speaker is one of the loudest with good audio quality.
It also retain the fast fingerprint unlock as well as face unlock.
