Google Chrome: How to import bookmark from firefox or IE

I wrote this tutorial since I've just successfully import bookmarks from Firefox 3.1 Beta 2

The step by step.
1. From Google Chrome, click on " Customize and control Google Chrome" button.
2. Choose "Import bookmarks & settings".

3. On the "Import Bookmarks and Setting" screen, choose either you want to import from Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE). Then select which items you want to import. Click on Import.

Well. that about it.

If somehow, Mozilla Firefox is not in the list, you can simply export your bookmarks from Firefox, then import your exported bookmark from Google Chrome Bookmark Manager.
Here's how.
1. From Google Chrome, click on " Customize and control Google Chrome" button.
2. Choose "Bookmark Manager".
You can skip procedure 1 & 2 by pressing "Ctrl+Shift+B".
3. From Google Chrome Bookmark Manager, Click on "Tools", choose "Import Bookmarks".

4. Locate the exported bookmark from Firefox and click "Open".

That's it, Your bookmark should already been imported.

  1. I want to import history. How do I do that if it's not showing up in the list?

  2. I could make use of that as well.

For me, it's a one-time load with a ton of titles & addresses.

If you find it, please email fluttervertigo@gmail.com

    Thanks.
