Acer Aspire One Feature and Specifications

Acer Aspire OneAcer has revealed Acer Aspire One to compete with Asus Eee series. Based on Intel Atom N270, Aspire One give us an option either 8GB NAND Flash Module (Linux) or 80GB 2.5in HDD (Windows XP). I believe the Windows XP version will be more popular because of the storage capacity.

The Acer Aspire One Linux version will running Linpus™ Linux® Lite operating system that is designed specifically to meet all low-cost PCs and mobile devices requirements. This operating system is also designed with build in networking such as Wi-Fi, WiMAX, HSDPA, HSUPA, Ethernet, BT, IR and UPnP.

  1. Wow, this Acer series is so great.
    I own Acer Aspire 5580 for myself with Vista OS.
    If not mistaken, we can upgrade or downgrade our storage capacity (the size of HDD). So, it`s not depends on the OS version.
    I love this Aspire One version when it goes to it`s build in networking stated "such as Wi-Fi, "WiMAX", HSDPA, HSUPA, Ethernet, BT, IR and UPnP."

    What about the price?

  2. The official price is starting from USD379 (around RM1200). Will be available is US market on Q3 this year.
