Task Manager disabled by Administrator - Quick Fix

In my networking environment, this is a common problem. Most of the time, the Task Manager were disabled by a virus.

So, here's what I do to fix this problem.

1. Open Group Policy Object Editor
Windows XP
Click Start ->Run. type gpedit.msc press enter.

Windows Vista
Click Start. type gpedit.msc in the search bar and press enter.

2. Locate Task Manager
Expand User Configuration
Expand Administrative Templates
Expand System
Click on Ctrl+Alt+Del Options

3. Change Setting
In the right column, double click Remove Task Manager.
Select Not configured or Disabled and click OK.

You should be able to open Task Manager by now.

If it's not working then most probably it's because of spyware. Get a spyware remover. I personally prefer Adware from Lavasoft. You can download the free version here.

Most of the time, this will fix the problem.

Hijackthis is also a very useful software for spyware removal. but you need to be very careful with this software. If you're not familiar with Hijackthis, I suggest doing some research before start using it. Click here to go to Hijackthis download page.

  5. Well i think these days manager auf zeit is the temporary provision of management resources and skills. Interim management can be seen as the short-term assignment of a proven heavyweight interim executive manager to manage a period of transition, crisis or change within an organization. In this situation, a permanent role may be unnecessary or impossible to find on short notice. Additionally, there may be nobody internally who is suitable for, or available to take up, the position in question.
